Mr. Desmond is the President and a Principal of the firm with 30 years of broad-based experience and knowledge of technical and legal aspects of the practice in Land Surveying and Land Development Planning.
Mr. Desmond is a registered Professional Land Surveyor and an active member of The Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE), The National Society Professional Surveyors (NSPS), and the Danvers Rotary Club.
Mr. Jalbert is a Principal and the Director of Survey operations with 20 years of experience. Wayne has extensive knowledge of the technical, legal and logistical aspects of managing all areas of surveying projects. He is responsible for overseeing boundary, topographic and hydrographic surveys, geodetic and photogrammetric projects, as well as G.P.S. and construction layout services.
Mr. Jalbert holds a Professional Land Surveyor registration in Massachusetts and a Licensed Land Surveyor registration in New Hampshire. He supervises a staff of over 20 land surveyors trained and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, software and G.P.S. He is an active member of many professional organizations including Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Enginners (MALSCE), New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association (NHLSA), Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors (CALS) and American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM).
Mr. Talacko is the Engineering Principal of the firm. His responsibilities include technical quality control and assurance for the engineering department, strategic planning, business development and project management. Mr. Talacko is a Registered Professional Engineer with 22 plus years of extensive experience in land development engineering, permit acquisitions, regulatory coordination and management of wide variety of small and large projects from planning through construction. He designed, managed and obtained approval for numerous residential and commercial subdivisions, including coordination with in-house surveying and environmental departments. Mr. Talacko also prepared civil site drawings, managed and permitted office and commercial building projects, college dormitories, athletic facilities and medical office buildings. He represented a wide variety of projects before Planning Boards, Conservation Commissions, Public Works Departments, Town Engineers and Boards of Health. Mr. Talacko was the Chairman of the Town of Georgetown Board of Health and has broad expertise with the inspection and design of on-site subsurface sewage disposal systems.
Mr. Peznola is currently a principle in the firm, manages the Marlboro Branch office and is the Engineering Division Manager. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with nineteen (1 9 ) years of experience in the land development field . Mr. Peznola’s particular expertise in the development of affordable housing projects in Massachusetts through the Comprehensive Permit process. He serves on several 40B advisory subcommittees of the Citizens Housing and Planning Association and Home Builders Association of Massachusetts. Mr.. Peznola sat on the advisory panel of the Massachusetts Housing partnership that recently promulgated Guidelines for Zoning Boards in the review of Chapter 40B Projects. His experience also includes technical quality control and assurance for the engineering department, strategic planning, business development and project management.
Mr. Bremser is currently Branch Manager of the Lakeville, MA branch of Hancock Associates. He manages a staff of five utilizing state of the art equipment and software. Mr. Bremser has twenty-two (22) years of experience in land surveying, civil engineering, and title examination. Mr. Bremser’s surveying experience includes managing various public and private sector projects including medium-scale construction projects; all phases of subdivision preparation and approval; boundary retracement surveys; ALTA/ACSM title insurance surveys; as-built, easement and Activity and Use Limitation (AUL) plans; topographic, hydrographic, wetlands and site detail surveys. As a project engineer, Mr. Bremser’s prior experience includes drainage analysis and design, road design, concrete testing, compaction testing, revetment design and commercial and residential septic system design. He has successfully represented clients in hundreds of public hearings before Planning Boards, Conservation Commissions, Boards of Health, Boards of Appeals, and is an active member of various Chambers of Commerce and professional organizations.
Mr. Keough is currently the Environmental Division Manager for Hancock Associates. He has over ten (10) years of experience specializing in environmental permitting, regulatory analyses, wetland delineations, and hydrogeology. He graduated from Salem State College in 1995 with his B.S. in Physical Geography (Environmental Science Concentration) with a minor in Geology. Tom is an active member of the Massachusetts Association of Wetland Scientist (MACC).
Mr. Doherty currently serves as the Senior Project Manager for the engineering department. His experience is broad-based and includes more than 36 years of strategic planning, business development, program management and civil engineering experience for Federal agencies and private consulting firms. Dick is a professional engineer with extensive experience in municipal, environmental, water resources and civil/site engineering, regulatory coordination and permitting and major project management. He is a member of the board of directors of The Society of American Military Engineers.
Mr. Bergstrom is the firm's controller. He has over 35 years experience in general accounting and human resources with particular strength in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, compensation, benefits, employment and information technologies. He is responsible for supporting the day-to-day Company operations and is an active member of the Danvers Rotary Club.
