The Civil Engineering staff at Hancock Associates provides a comprehensive range of land development services from conceptual design, permit site plans and subdivision plans, to construction management and as-built certifications. Our name has been synonymous with engineering excellence and achievement in a wide variety of project areas: Land Planning, Commercial Site Design, Subdivision Design and Permitting, Flood Studies, Stormwater Management, Erosion Control Design, Sanitary Sewer Design, Sewerage Lift Station Design, Subsurface Sewage Disposal, Innovative/Alternative and Sewage Pretreatment Design, Construction Observation, Pond Design, Municipal Support Services and Expert Testimony.

As a part of a multidisciplinary firm, we are able to assemble an efficient team of experienced professionals and support staff. Our professionals contribute state-of-the-art knowledge of equipment and practices, representing all of the disciplines involved in project development We are able to coordinate in-house, plan project strategy, assemble required data and prepare successful designs for our clients.

Based on our extensive experience in land developmental engineering, Hancock Associates is capable of providing Peer Review Services for Planning Boards and Conservation Commissions. We also specialize in the design and permitting of affordable housing projects under the Massachusetts comprehensive permit regulations (Chapter 40B).
