SERVICE OVERVIEW

The Wetland Science Staff examines how wetlands are formed, how they work, and how best to protect them (or even make new ones!). The field is constantly changing, as our understanding of wetland habitats expands, and our professional staff has a sound basis in science, policy, and communications to change with the field, and the flexibility to work with others others to help our clients achieve their goals.

The staff provides a broad range of environmental and planning services to a variety of clients, including developers, architects, attorneys, landowners, and state and municipal agencies. Our environmental consultants have extensive experience with construction permitting for residential, commercial, and institutional projects, including marinas, seawall repairs and new development within and adjacent to coastal zone resource areas. Our familiarity with the regulatory community aids our professionals in obtaining project approval.

Assessment and Design

Integral to Hancock is our ability to evaluate physical, environmental and regulatory constraints for a project site in the planning and early design phase. Our approach stresses early communication with public and private agencies in order to target project components that are of particular concern to regulatory authorities.

This strategy allows us to provide our clients with an efficient pro-active approach to potential regulatory obstacles during the project-planning phase.

Results

Hancock is known for providing quality, professional environmental services that achieve the objectives of the project, yet conserve our natural environment.
