Residential Project 3, Salem, MA

Client: Tremblay

Project Description:

Supervise construction of a Wetland Replication Area for a single family home project

Scope of work:

Hancock Associates met with the client to discuss meeting the objectives set forth by the Conservation Commission. Hancock Associates provided the Conservation Commission with a Construction Sequencing Plan and revised Planting Plan prior to construction the replication Area. A representative of Hancock was onsite during construction to provide supervision and ensure the Commissions directives were adhered to.

Hancock will provide annual monitoring reports to Conservation Commission to document plant survival rate and overall health of replication area.

Residential Project 1, North Andover, MA

Client: Skelley

Project Description:

Construction of a retaining wall and re-grading of yard in the buffer zone of bordering vegetated wetland.

Scope of work:

Hancock Associates met with the client to discuss their goals and determine the best method of achieving them. Hancock Associates delineated the on-site wetlands and prepared to permit site plan depicting the proposed retaining wall. The project was then submitted to the Conservation Commission for their review. The necessary permits were obtained to allow the client to construct the retaining wall and grade their yard to create a useable space the entire family can enjoy. Hancock Associates monitored the construction of the wall to ensure that the projected was completed in accordance with the Conservation Commission Special Conditions.

Residential Project 2, Nahant, MA

Client: D'Amico

Project Description:

Prepare a Notice of Intent Application for maintenance repairs to an existing coastal revetment.

Scope of work:

Hancock Associates met with the client to discuss his goals and develop a permitting strategy. A topographical survey was performed and Hancock Associates filed a Notice of Intent with the Nahant Conservation Commission in order to obtain a permit. The permit will allow for the reconstruction of an existing coastal revetment on a single-family house lot.
