Human Resources & Marketing Assistant
Location: Danvers, MA with travel to other offices as needed
DESCRIPTION: We have an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resources & Marketing Assistant. The right candidate will be detail and deadline oriented, reliable, proactive, someone who wants to learn and grow and has a “no job is too small attitude.”
QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for a multitasker who is well organized and likes to roll up their sleeves; already thinking of Plan B, C and D. Great communication skills and the ability to follow directions are a must. A high level of confidentiality is expected within this role. We are looking for a team player with the ability to work independently.
MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with RFQs/RFIs as needed
- Provide assistance in preparing team for any speaking engagements, seminars, webinars or presentations
- Photo tagging and tracking
- Inventory/disbursement of collateral
- Coordinate with outside marketing firm for any website updates, including firm bios, event updates, position postings or firm news
- Intranet maintenance (Sharepoint)
- Internal event communications (emails, flyers, signage, etc.)
HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with benefit enrollments and communications
- Assist with maintenance of employee records
- Assist with performance management procedures
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Support other assigned functions
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
- Assist with planning special events
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Manager as needed
- Special projects as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates should have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in a professional working environment
- Solid computer skills necessary
- Experience with Office 365 (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required
- Experience with Intranet creation/maintenance (Sharepoint) a plus
