Human Resources & Marketing Assistant

Location: Danvers, MA with travel to other offices as needed

DESCRIPTION: We have an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resources & Marketing Assistant. The right candidate will be detail and deadline oriented, reliable, proactive, someone who wants to learn and grow and has a “no job is too small attitude.”

QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for a multitasker who is well organized and likes to roll up their sleeves; already thinking of Plan B, C and D. Great communication skills and the ability to follow directions are a must. A high level of confidentiality is expected within this role. We are looking for a team player with the ability to work independently.

MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with RFQs/RFIs as needed
  • Provide assistance in preparing team for any speaking engagements, seminars, webinars or presentations
  • Photo tagging and tracking
  • Inventory/disbursement of collateral
  • Coordinate with outside marketing firm for any website updates, including firm bios, event updates, position postings or firm news
  • Intranet maintenance (Sharepoint)
  • Internal event communications (emails, flyers, signage, etc.)

HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with benefit enrollments and communications
  • Assist with maintenance of employee records
  • Assist with performance management procedures
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Support other assigned functions
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
  • Assist with planning special events

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Manager as needed
  • Special projects as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates should have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional working environment
  • Solid computer skills necessary
  • Experience with Office 365 (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required
  • Experience with Intranet creation/maintenance (Sharepoint) a plus
