Co-ops and Internships

Co-ops and internships at Hancock Associates give students invaluable hands-on experience in the fields of land surveying or civil engineering. Our programs give students the ability to apply their technical training to real-world situations, gain new business and interpersonal skills, work with great mentors and prepare themselves for success in high-demand careers. Some co-op students have held several co-op positions during their education, and some have rejoined Hancock after graduation!

Available Co-op Programs

Field Surveying

Work with survey team to learn to run equipment and understand survey procedures.

Office Surveying

Learn to perform research, process field data and AutoCAD drafting.

Engineering

Offering four programs with opportunities to learn:

  • General engineering drafting, zoning, grading and septic systems.
  • Stormwater fundamentals and HydroCAD pre and post development.
  • Site design and fundamentals of construction documents.
  • Applications, permitting processes and wetland impacts.
