H.W. Moore Associates was founded in 1967 by Bill Moore, PE, P.L.S, to provide consulting services in civil, traffic, environmental and land use engineering for federal, state, municipal and private projects. In 2018, we proudly became a division of Hancock Associates in order to expand our staff, services and capabilities to better serve our clients.

Since 1978, Hancock Associates has been dedicated to excellence in land/coastal development, construction and preservation throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island. With strategically placed locations in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire and land surveyors, civil engineers and wetland scientists on staff, they offer local expertise, project efficiencies and travel convenience that’s unmatched in the land development industry. Hancock Associates also maintains an archive of historical survey records from 40 land surveying and civil engineering firms dating back to 1852. These records not only can assist the firm in performing surveying tasks quickly and cost effectively, but they can also be an invaluable resource for other organizations and individuals.
