Hancock Associates is pleased to announce that Jason Ellis, P.L.S. has been promoted to Survey Manager.
In this role, Jason will manage survey operations, coordinate with Hancock’s engineering and wetland science departments in the firm’s Boston, Danvers and Newburyport offices and work in tandem with Gregory G. Gould, P.L.S. who manages survey operations in the western Massachusetts offices. He will oversee personnel, mentoring, business performance, business development and related operational tasks including QA/QC, MassDOT standards and CAD operations and continue to assist the survey department by serving on Hancock’s Recruitment Committee and following technology changes in the industry.
Jason joined Hancock as an Instrument Operator nearly 30 years ago and has steadily advanced his career including becoming an Associate of the firm in 2017. He has a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Regional Planning with a minor in Cartography from Westfield State College and is a Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts. Jason is MBTA Contractor Safety Trained and a member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE). He lives in Danvers, Massachusetts.
