Palmer Cove Park & Playground

Project Overview

Hancock Associates prepared an Activity and Use Limitation (AUL) Plan for Palmer Cove Park & Playground in Salem, MA. Established in 1913, the park is located in Salem’s Point Neighborhood and abuts Salem Harbor. Recent renovations have included the construction of basketball courts, a community garden, and improved waterfront pathways and more improvements are scheduled in the future.

The plan establishes land-use restrictions associated with the property and supports the continued management and safe use of this historic public recreational space.
