Sargent Pond

Project Overview

Hancock Associates provided land surveying and wetland science services at the three-acre Sargent Pond in Brookline, MA to support dewatering and dredging operations to contain and mitigate excessive algae. The team conducted existing conditions surveys including soundings and the identification of wetlands prior to dewatering, staked proposed grades for dredging, conducted as-built survey of the dredged pond during reconstruction and prepared final as-built plans to accompany the Certificate of Compliance request with the Brookline Conservation Commission once construction was complete.
