Marketing Coordinator

Location(s): Danvers, MA;

DESCRIPTION: Looking for a Marketing Coordinator with a creative spark to support our Marketing Team in various marketing initiatives. This role involves a blend of assisting brand development and administrative tasks that are relevant to the team’s comprehensive marketing plans as well as coordinating in-house efforts with President and Project Managers and interfacing with outsourced marketing consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate is a creative and organized professional capable of managing multiple projects and working closely with various teams/departments to ensure the successful promotion and representation of the Hancock brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the President in managing the Marketing Team
  • Coordinate/track our company’s advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate/procure data from Hancock Project Managers
  • Assist with collateral needs such as taking photographs, hanging banners, etc.
  • Assist with the development of internal content for various social media accounts
  • Assist in media planning and buying
  • Assist with the overall growth of our Marketing Department and graphic design services
  • Manage outsourced vendors and consultants
  • Develop new initiatives, ideas, etc.
  • Coordinate purchasing of and managing of company Ticket Program
  • Assist Events Committee

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A proactive self-starter with 2 years’ experience in a marketing department or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Degree in Marketing of relevant field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail and relationship oriented, gets along well as part of a team
  • Able to manage many tasks simultaneously
  • Able to deal with a variety of constituents including sales
  • Strong people skills, follow-up skills and ability to troubleshoot and help resolve issues
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight deadlines
