Hancock Associates Promotes Gregory G. Gould, PLS to Vice President

Hancock Associates, a leading provider of land surveying, civil engineering and wetland science services, is pleased to announce that Gregory G. Gould, PLS. has been promoted to Vice President.

Greg has been with Hancock Associates for over 15 years, elevating to Associate in 2017. He has experience working on a wide range of surveying projects from both field and office perspectives. These include ANR and definitive subdivision plans, condominium, existing conditions, aerial photogrammetric control, GPS, boundary surveys, construction layout, MA Land Court Surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, MassDOT surveys, settlement surveys, easements and lease plans, and FEMA Elevation Certificates. As Vice President, Greg will focus on operations in Hancock’s Chelmsford, Marlborough and Princeton offices.

 

Greg has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a concentration in Mapping Sciences from Clark University and holds a certificate in Land Surveying from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts and a member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE). He lives in Belchertown, Massachusetts.

Hancock Associates’ David T. White Receives Professional Engineer License

Hancock Associates, a leading provider of land surveying, civil engineering and wetland science services, is pleased to announce that David T. White, a Design Engineer at Hancock’s Boston division of H.W. Moore, passed the professional engineering exam and is now a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts.

David joined H.W. Moore in 2013 and has handled utility design and land development from preliminary design through construction and completion on projects ranging from small additions to existing buildings to multi-million dollar residential and office developments. He has vast experience in preparing pre- and post-development stormwater analyses utilizing HydroCAD software for large commercial, residential and public developments including detention and infiltration systems, storm drain system design using rational design method and the preparation of stormwater management reports. He also has experience performing site grading and sewer system design for large residential developments.

David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University.

David lives in Andover, Massachusetts.

Hancock Associates’ Dan Fleming Becomes Registered Professional Land Surveyor

Hancock Associates, a leading local provider of land surveying, civil engineering and wetland science services, is pleased to announce that Dan Fleming, a Project Surveyor at the firm, passed the State Surveyor Jurisprudence Exam and is now a registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Massachusetts.

Dan joined Hancock Associates in 2017 and previously held positions as Project Manager/Crew Chief, Instrument Operator and Field Technician at several local well-respected land surveying firms. He received his Professional Land Surveying Certificate from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Dan is based in Hancock’s Chelmsford office and lives in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

“Dan’s organization, attention to detail and willingness to learn have made him a valuable asset to our Chelmsford office and the company as a whole,” said President Wayne Jalbert. “We’re very proud of his achievement and look forward to his continued success.”

Joanne O’Connell Hired as Manager of Administrative Services

Hancock Associates, a leading local provider of land surveying, civil engineering and wetland science services, proudly announces the hiring of Joanne O’Connell as the firm’s Manager of Administrative Services. She will oversee all administrative support personnel and functions including contracts, client relations, facilities, branch offices, special events and technology.

Joanne has over 19 years of experience in business administration, human resources, accounting and marketing and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Salem State University. She is based in in Hancock’s Danvers office at 185 Centre Street and lives in Saugus, Massachusetts.

“I’m excited to take my nearly two decades of business experience and best practices to Hancock Associates and help fine-tune processes to increase efficiencies and profitability. I look forward to contributing to Hancock’s continued success,” said Joanne.
